My understanding is they send the machine to one expert to use for a while and pass on to another one. I have no idea what happens to the machine when they are done with it but after all have used it they are going to write a review.
Interesting. So how do they write the review is so many people use it? Does one guy write it up and circulate to the working group for comments, etc? (like people do in a law firm)

Can't speak for how they are doing it but I guess since this takes time to pass the machine around they want all reviews written before each see the others review, this way nothing gets influenced by another's review.

For this road trip, each participant got to write thier own impressions.
We did not share our impressions with each other until the review cycle was finished, so as not to influence each other. Now, all of the participants have had a chance to work with the machine and we have all shared our impressions with each other.
Hopefully, all of these will be posted as a feature here at coffeegeek as a feature. But as I mentioned, there is some stuff that needs to happen in the background first.
Thanks goes out to all the participants for donating the time and money (we each paid forward shipping)

Like the rest of you, I am anxiously awaiting some feedback from the roadshow participants. I am considering the cc1/preciso setup from SCG, which looks like a really good value/package. Anyone want to just chime in whether there are any serious issues with the CC1 that I should be considering before pulling the trigger. BTW, I only make maybe 3 or 4 shots a day, rarely use a frother. Sometimes I just use an IV tube... ;)

Do a search, there should be a few discussions on here about user experience with the CC1. From my perspective, there is no serious issues. I probably received a defective unit as my steamblock leaked within 2 weeks, but others have not reported similar issues, it's likely just an isolated incident. I am waiting to get my machine back from SCG after repair.

thanks for your feedback. i've read every discussion of the CC1 currently accessible on the internet, this forum and others included. have seen the SCG demos, interview with Bill, etc., etc. -- all of which is helpful, however actual unbiased user experience is even more helpful.
