Hi, I just got a Silvia V3 with the Auber PID. Might anyone know how to change the display from Celsius to Farenheight? I was not totally clear on the paperwork from Auber on how to do this. Thanks!

Which PID model? On mine, it is in the 0089 menu. I thought that I read somewhere that you should not change C or F from set, and the Auber site notes that you should specify to Auber at the time of purchase if you want it changed on the "PID kits." I did not buy a kit, but the generic unit and mine gives no warning not to change, or to contact them.

WARNING Will Robinson, I just installed the Auber Pre-Infusion kit (F temp) on my Silvia and just for kicks tried changing the display to Celsius. The controller manual implies the FtoC parameter is for display only, well it's not. If your set your F PID to display C it will try to run your boiler up to 221C, ouch!
I contacted Auber and told them the manual should have a BIG warning regarding this parameter.

I am not going to test mine at least yet, but I believe that may be different on the kit vs on a non-kit controller. The kits are programmed and some features locked. I may have to do a little reading, but I think that I have that somewhere.

Sorry if my post was not clear. I only meant to establish that the kit controller and the non-kit controller are different though they both look like a SYL-1512. Auber adds some parameters noted on the kit description, "modified" with 2 additional parameters to "balance cold start speed, shot recovery speed and long term stability." From what I understand, those parameters are not user selectable. It also says that kits in US are F and outside US are C and to specify if you want them changed. The nonkit version implies that they are user selectable, not to specify to Auber if you wanted it changed. I have not tested that by changing mine, was what I meant.
I did realize that you were not locked out of CorF, you changed it.
