Hey, I have an astra gap.. that I've had for a few years with no issues.. the other day I saw a little smoke, and the machine stopped pumping through the filter. Instead it just pumps into the pan below the filter head. I pulled it apart, and could see that the coil on the solenoid valve is a bit charred and realize that I need to replace it.
I went on line and could not find a parts manual for this machine..(don't know what year it is). I found parts suppliers but not with the exact matching part. Mine has a Sirai Z530A 110v/120v coil and the only on line match for that part number shows a 24v. Obviously incorrect. I'm wondering if I can replace it with a Lucifer or Parker solenoid valve. It looks like the same assembly and screw pattern. Has anyone dealt with this issue, or have any more information??
