Hi, has anyone tried portaspresso? It's an Australian invention for a portable espresso. I think Handpresso fails to deliver full body espresso and Mypressi isn't that convenient for travelers with the cartridge. From youtube it seems pretty good but it is expensive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLSQtKTYp5s
I haven't used it - nor have I used any of the portable espresso machines (Handpresso, MyPressi), and I don't have enough technical knowledge to pass judgment, so I guess this post is meaningless. Really I just wanted to say: Good find and thanks for posting!
I've had a Bacchi for several months, maybe a year. It works and is very consistent (and not at all convenient if you're making more than a single shot). It still requires a heat source and a proper grinder. I haven't had any problems with it, but it see only "curiosity" use, not day to day use.
