great! sounds like you're in the ballpark. now you need to microadjust the grind setting (and possibly the dose) to get the desired extraction rate.
One of the more senior members here has a great website (www.espressomyespresso.com) On there, you will find "...an easy guide to better espresso..." under the "how-to" section. It's article 12 about midway down on the right column.
