I've always wondered about that switch. What exactly is different about having it plumbed in or run off a tank? What difference does it make to the machine? I would guess maybe that some solenoids would need to be kept closed under line pressure or something. I don't know. Maybe boiler fill. Apparently my Mininova has a switch like this too. Someone enlighten me please?

I just tried the link in the post for the Izzo Alex group on Google but it says I don't have permission. I tried to search for it bit it said it doesn't exist. Can anybody help?
