Posted Sat Jul 28, 2012, 1:42pm Subject: can't get Brewtus pressure below 12 bar
Hi there,
I got my second hand Brewtus ii today. I've cleaned it and will descale next week (though its from soft water area and appears to be alright). OPV screw faces the bottom of the machine but still has access.
My problem is that I can't get the brew pressure below 12 bar. I unscrew the OPV screw as far as it goes without falling out, but pressure always ramps up to 12 with the blank filter disc in. Does anybody have any ideas how I could rectify this? I gather the aim is to get down to 10 bar with the backflushing disc in.
Its very frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated :) many thanks.
