Hello. I own a locksmith company and they other day I was required to break a lock to a restaurant that was being evicted. Like every evictions I do, there's always stuff they leave behind. You would'nt believe how much computers and gadgets ive seen thrown into the trash. The items are not even donated. Anyways, I always take something with me since the police officer who's always present tells me they junk the stuff and lets me go on a free mini shopping spree if I want. I couldn't hold back when I saw a expresso/cappuccino machine. I'm planning on selling it on craigslist or ebay, but dont know to much about coffee making. Theres a big hold in the top of the machine and not sure if theres a cover plate missing. wondering if any of you experts could enlighten me so I could come up with a decent price range to sell this puppy. Any help?
Thanks for the reply. Yes I saw that earlier and got kinda excited cause it cost a lot of money. But what I need to know us whether that top piece of the one I have is missing or not. There's a big hold on top where that plastic container was stuffed inside. And there's hoses as well. Just want to make sure everything is here before I set a price.
That is a pod machine, pretty worthless in our world. A google search would have turned up asking price new of about 1K but if it was left behind there likely is something wrong with it and again the value would be low. You need to wonder why it was left behind and yes there should be a cover over the water tank.
Everything is left behind during an eviction. I have computers, printers, aircraft testing equipment, and all kinds of stuff that work. This machine was left behind with refrigerators, stoves, orange juice makers. Not to mention the tables and chairs. It should work fine.
Cool find, but holy hell, who would have paid 1k new for POD machine lol??
It'd pry sell quick on Ebay or Craigslist, just make sure it works as it will sell way faster. Most people looking for a fixer-upper machine are looking for the normal commercial type branded machines, not an relatively unknown one, especially a POD type..
