Hi.........I was trying to lever off the shower screen on my legend to give the group/screen a clean using the handle of a teaspoon but all I managed to do was kink the fine mesh that lies on the surface. It's different to the one that was on my Duetto, that had a ridge on it that could be eased out. Does anyone have any suggestions how to remove?.................thanks.............dennis
First, obtain a new e61 group head gasket and shower screen. Most espresso service centers have these. Located inside the group head is a round black gasket holding the shower screen in place. Cautiously, use scratch owl pick to prey rubber gasket out. Careful not to scratch the metal head or your hands. The basket should fall right out. Replace with new parts and enjoy fresh espresso. Cheers.
