I was shocked to see Krups introducing a new espresso machine that, to me , looks like the famous Sunbeam EM6910 twin thermoblock machine that has a very large following in Australia. Here's the Amazon link: Click Here (www.amazon.com)
I always thought the Sunbeam looked like an interesting machine and was a bit jealous that it was only available in Australia well now we have it but for $599 - Yikes!
Ulka make the pumps, which is the extent of Italy's contribution. The rest is designed in Australia and made in China. It's ironic when you consider that the brew thermoblock is a direct but bigger copy of the Krups thermoblock from the 1990's.
