Just got an ECM Giotto (the one with the round dial),. It has not been used in 3 to 4 years. After a lot of tweeking got it to work... yesss. Now, following instructions I found on the net, I cleaned the thing with a mild solution of citric acid. I let it stand in the boiler for 45 mins and flushed it a few time. fill, boil, drain, fill, boil, drain Strangly enough the water had a bluish tint...? I flushed it some more and now it seems to be clean. WHAT WAS THAT??? Can someone tell me if it's poisonous or something? ps: I only paid 250$ for the machine
