The basket has been covered I think but the coffee. I have never used any of those. The key is freshness. If the day the coffee was roasted is NOT on the bag, the chances are that it is very stale, this would be even more so if there is only a "best by" date on the bag. We have a list of on line vendors that we like and you can start from. Click Here (www.home-barista.com)
Give one of them a try if any of the coffee in your local shop does not carry a roasted ON date.

Thank you! One on the Favourite Roaster Page (Detour Coffee Roasters, Dundas, Ontario) actually supplies a store 3 blocks from my house. Will give them a try.
