Hi, i live in Norway where our water is very soft, so therefore scale build up is not a huge issue. However, i would like to descale once every year or two and i am wondering what descaling products i should use. When i mean descaling i mean descaling the boiler, steam wand, hot water wand, brew head and pipework. I also plan to follow the descaling procedure posted on www.espressocare.com which is very good explained.
For my machine - can i use the following products? 1) Jura descaling tablets? 2) Citric acid ?
What product is recommended? Given relatively minor scale build up.

For a HX machine I recommend to use a commercial liquid or powder descaling agent, which will leave you with no trouble as far as the warranty of the machine is concerned. However, most agents actually contain citric acid, so it's safe to use that as well.
