OK. Tried it without mushroom valve and it didnt fill up at all. Put back in mushroom valve and filled up again-turned pump on -no difference-lots of noise but no water. The water/ steam coming out of the wand, i think is only coming out when its boiling, as if i try pumping water through wand before it reaches temp, nothing comes out-why isnt my pump pumping??? everything sounds ok, but no water.
As for coffee being too fine before, well it was same coffee as i always use. Could it be the holder question?? well water ran through fine when pumped. And i tried it with an unused 1 shot holder, which again let water through but no coffee.
These are all irrelevant now, as i cant get any water at all through.
