Hi all,
just bought my first (used) Europiccola and am beginning to play with it. Have just noticed that one of the seal is not tight and is actually moving quite a lot. It does not seem critical, but I am wondering if this can affect the pressure and ruin the overall process. It is the seal No 4 in the attached picture.

so basically you are saying that your boiler is twisting on the base? it is somehow a common issue, no it will not affect the pressure but it will not get any better with time, you could actually damage some of the bottom components if it will twist drastically.
When operating an europiccola every time you insert and engage the portafilter, has you are turning it to the left you need to counter balance on the lever to the right, saying so to now take care of the issue is a little pain, you need to get to the bottom of the machine, remove the heating element (3 bolts) then re-tighten the flange, without the special tool your best option will be to gently tap on the flange edges with a wooden dowel and a rubber hammer untill tight, I normally use a litttle loctite to hold it there once position, be aware that if you have a pressurestat on your unit the pipe might need to be reposition since you 'll be moving the mounting holes
