A Miele "system" is a super-auto. With one push of a button it will grind, fill the basket, and pull the shot. Depending upon the specific machine, it may even steam the milk for you.
EVERY super-auto will let you pour in whole beans (what's the point of having a grinder built into the machine if you don't use whole beans?). Name one that doesn't.
Super-autos -- which I try never to recommend -- may the perfect solution in your case. They grind, they tamp, they pull a shot, and depending upon the model, they even steam milk. They also break down a lot, are a real PITA to keep clean, and are never the equal in the cup of a semi-automatic or a volumetric (aka full-auto) machine. On the other hand, the reality of making espresso from fresh beans may be a problem: I don't know what sort of "traffic" you expect, but freshness -- even with a super-automatic -- could be a real concern (see Babbie's Rule of Fifteens), unless you will be using the machine "the rest of the time," so to speak . . . .

I'm seeing some conflicting things here.. You say that are not looking for a machine which "Does it all", but then you keep talking about "Will allow me to pour in whole beans". Then you keep making references to a super-automatic machine. (The Miele)
If you want a machine which one puts beans in, a button is pushed and coffee comes out, then you will want a super-automatic machine.
If you don't mind grinding coffee, tamping and then pulling a shot, then either a semi-automatic or automatic (Not to be confused with Super-Automatic) machine will suit your needs.
Realistically, for your needs, any NSF-Rated Semi-Automatic Heat Exchanging machine will do the trick quite nicely. However, one must also invest in a separate grinder to work with the machine.
To use an example, a Nuova Simonelli Oscar coupled with a grinder like a Mazzer Mini Electronic would meet your budget, make great coffee, be easy to clean and maintain and would be durable and reliable.
Consider looking at one of these first. Both the grinder and the machine I suggested above will be considerably more reliable than a Super-Automatic.
