I recently read about tonx.org. It's a coffee subscription service. Has anybody tried it? If you have an opinion on their coffee, I'd love to hear it.

I have not used them myself, nor do I know anyone who has but they don't seem to be much different than any one of a dozen other services that does this.
You can contact the roasters yourself with a lot more choice but a little more work on your part, here is a place to start.

Or you could try here,

I've tried a few of their coffees. Recommended! Why not do their free trial?

What seemed to be different is that they claim to ship within 24 hours of roasting.

I signed up for the free trial. I've been buying from the same local roaster for the past 6 months and the coffee has been great, but I want more variety.

Me too, so far. Actually, the beans I've been buying for the past 6 months I've been picking up at the grocery store, but they are always within a couple days of roasting. I've mail ordered from Klatch and Redbird as well.

The only reason I mentioned that is because the vendor that calblacksmith mentioned doesn't seem to make any specific promises with regards to freshness.
