Hi all,
I'm moving house and am looking for advice on moving my Isomac Venus. I'll probably move it myself rather than have the movers do it. I'm wanting to avoid a mess though so I'm thinking I need to empty the boiler? Right now I'm thinking to empty the plastic water tank at the back, then just use the wand to drain extra water until it starves and then turn it off quickly. Am a bit worried about damaging the machine though if I do this. Is there a proper way to do it?

PS. Been using this machine for quite a while now. Only use it Saturday and Sunday but I look forward to every weekend :-)

Hi guys,
Let me know if that was a brain dead question or not or if its not clear. I'll try clarify. I'm basically going to be moving my Venus to a new house and wondering what's the best way to avoid a mess? Do I need to worry about the water that is in the machine (besides the plastic water tank)?

The only issue I think would be a problem leaving water in the boiler is if it were to freeze. As long as you will not be putting it in storage for a month or more, and no chance it will freeze, just empty the plastic tank, close the steam wand, and leave the boiler full.
