Hi all,
Long time lurker first time poster :-)
I just made the jump and bought an Isomac Tea and I noticed a small leak under the coffee machine. I emailed the retailer but haven't heard back yet. Basically after I brew my coffee I noticed that the coffee machine drips for a while from underneath the bottom plate (see attached pic).
I'm thinking I will take the cover off and have a look but I figured I would ask you guys first. When I bought my cold water dispensing fridge this was expected behaviour for the first couple of days (something to do with its valve).

Hi. The machine shouldn't leak. Is it from the fresh water feed or is it from the drip tray? If it is plumbed in, your drain line might be kinked or it might not have enough slope to drain properly.
You really didn't give us much info to work with and the pic is really hard to see anything.

Hi again,
I tightened the brass nut and tried using the machine straight after. There was still a noticeable leak. A few hours later I made another coffee and when I checked for the leak I couldn't believe my eyes: it had stopped leaking. I used the coffee machine 2 or 3 times since and it looks like the tightening the nut did the the job. I left a paper towel underneath and it's as dry as it was when I tore it off the roll :-)

Glad you were able to stop the leak with just tightening, sometimes loosening the nut and wrapping the threads with plumbers tape and retightening will also seal the leak. The TEA with good fresh beans is capable of making awesome syrupy shots.
