Hi Everyone, I know there are tons of posts around the purchase of espresso machines/grinders, but seeing if anyone will offer advise on my situation. I have done a lot of searching online on machines and grinders and I am considering these two over others:
Rancilio Silvia with PID with a Baratza Preciso or the
Crossland CC1 with Baratza Virio
Also wondering where people like to order machines online? Any preference?
Open to other options: Also considered springing a little more cash to the: La Nuova Era Cuadra with the Lelit PL53 combo from 1st line: Afraid the grinder would not be sufficient on this set up and I cannot seem to find many videos with detail on the specifics of this machine. All I find on utube are an unpacking video, and a few shots pulling videos. I would love to see a video going over more specifics on the machine.
I would like to keep my total for machine and grinder under 1300.

The CC1 offers some interesting advanced features like thermoblock enhanced steaming and programmable pre-infusion over the simple SBDU Silvia, which seems a little outdated even in its most recent permutation. The Nuova Era Cuadra is a HX machine with a classic E61 brew group. If you're making a lot of espresso based milk drinks like cappuccino or latte, it'll be the better choice.
The Preciso is usually considered to be the entry level electric grinder required for espresso. The Lelit PL53 is a stepless grinder that'll probably offer a lot of value for money.
