nope. If you read their page, you'll notice that while they call it a microwave espresso maker, they acknowledge it does not make espresso, but rather, that it makes something akin to moka pot coffee.
I have an issue with the microwave overcooking the espresso (if it can really be called such) as it pushes into and sits in the bottom cup, UNLESS they have integrated a microwave barrier in that bottom cup.

edit: I further read the offering and see that the inventors did indeed integrate a microwave barrier into that bottom cup. hmmmmmm .....

You pay for it, I'll test it. If the moka is hideous, I lose only 30 seconds. :)
Honest, answer, though. If it costs more than a stove-top moka pot, it is too much. It might serve a purpose in hotel rooms with a micro-wave and no stove. Or a workplace kitchen. I'd certainly try it out of curiousity if it were free.
