How old are the two main components of the group, and what does "Serviced" mean, and who did the work?

Depending on how it was used and maintained, the outside of a used machine can look new while the inside is ready to die. Biggest problem folks run across is scale in the boiler and the rest of the system. If you can go look at it, and are allowed to, remove the big top nut and remove the "mushroom." The presence of scale or corrosion in this area will be an indicator of the condition of the boiler.
Details on how to remove it and what it looks like on my website Here.
