I'm flushing about two ounces as well. My thoughts on the mods?
How about, "help, I can't stop making microfoam!"
Pulls seem smoother and my flush routine is greatly reduced. Having the vacuum breaker is great, though I haven't bought a timer yet. I highly recommend all the mods so far, though am eager to do more testing.

I can't thank him enough. I am tickled to death with my upgrades. He tossed in more than an O ring or 2. He did not like my beat up steam wand and chromeless tip and he replaced that. He used lots of parts he had for the steam mod. He was more than generous with his time and parts. Rob, You should watch the first 20 mins or so just for the laughs.
And all my issues with micro foam seem to be solved with this mod. I just need to learn to do it again.

OK Helen, you got me with "just for laughs." :>D However, it will have to wait till the morning, I'm bushed chasing the "bad guys" (spammers) tonight.
This is a lovely thread, and I KNOW many OSCAR owners will benefit, not only from the video, but in enhancing their pride of ownership of this somewhat underrated espresso machine. it comes from great stock.
