So here's a question:
Is it still a good shot if it's only 23-24 seconds, but produces a great shot with lots of crema and the extraction looks even and pretty? It's certainly tasty, but I'm not sure I want to dial in finer if the shots look and taste good. Thoughts?

I went from a $6 Mr. Coffee Steam moka at Goodwill to my current setup in less than a year. It all started because I just wanted to make iced lattes at home. This has become an almost all-consuming obsession. A year ago, I couldn't have cared less about coffee. It's funny how things change inside of a year.
Since I don't have to drive to work anymore, there have been moments I've honestly thought I really don't need my 2005 CTS-V anymore... But seriously folks, I still believe in plan the work, measure twice /cut once, and work the plan. ...yet reemerging the affair of coffee... I do find my knees sometimes go weak.
