all, thank you for all the input. Once I get the equipment, I'll be looking back through all your advice. I will have plenty of questions I am sure, but I'll wait to post until I've read more and am using the machine.
Joshua, sorry that I outbid you, but good to hear that you found a setup as well. Funny thing is that I started this by looking for a $150 dollar grinder (my wife agreed) and then decided I would get a $450 grinder after reading the forum. I hadn't had a chance to discuss with my wife when my vario search led to the la spaz. After some furious researching, and a quick consult with my lovely, supportive wife, I am now in the la spaziale club!!
Without this forum, I would have never made this purchase for 2 reasons 1) I wouldn't have had any confidence in knowing what to buy and therefore would never have made a purchase this big. 2) I still don't feel that I have the knowledge to use the equipment I just bought, but I feel that the forum's comradery and information is so good, that I am confident that I will be able to get the knowledge to figure it out. Kudos to the forum and the people who take time to help!
Of course, if you all weren't so helpful, I'd be contently drinking crappy brown water with some extra money in my bank account!! :) mark
