If I listen closely to that Seatle Coffee Gear ad, I'll find those "baristas" that shriek their milk irritating.
Anyway, I look forward next week's chapter. Maybe I'll buy your R58 and put a new pump in.  I wonder how good a deal an "Open Box" deal is.  (I'm kidding, I don't need another machine, though I do love the R58).

On the site the open box ones are 2300 dollars.
You know what is funny that I do not see many R58 owners on the Forums. Weird.

They seem to steer folks to Rocket machines over anything else, i know several that have posted negative reviews on their machine websites but the reviews are not posted. They dont always give you the good & bad when you call them.

ok Guys here is an update.
I went to my delaler and showed we pulled a shot together on my machine and he heard the noise. He said that this is a normal noise that sometimes pumps make. We pulled another shot on his  demo machine and it did not make any noise. Still he sad that he cannot guarantee that if he gives me another machine that it would not make that noise as it is very common.
So I decided to get the Alex Duetto 3, I took it home and set it up.

Drum roll Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very happy with this machine and if I have to tell the truth it pulls better shot then the R58.Pump maybe a bit louder but at least no Andrea Boccelli in the background.
