water is going through the pump, I even tried disconnecting the small white hose post pump and water pumps through. Although im not sure if its pumping enough. the pump sounds very weak. could it be the flow meter? although water pumps through it also.

You have a semi automatic machine, YOU stop the brew cycle when YOU feel you have brewed a proper shot or two depending on what you are brewing, it does not stop on it's own.
The water flow from the group head will look "weak" it will not be a fire hose of water. If you get about 3 oz of water in, oh, 5 seconds or so (without the porta filter in place, just an open group head), all is well.

When I push the coffee button to start a shot the pump will run for a cycle and turn itself off. When the water come out it just seems to be a weaker flow than usual (I may be wrong on this) Also the pump sounds very different from normal it sounds weaker than it usually does. This sound change is what I noticed right away and prompted me to take machine apart to investigate.
The single shot button puts out 3oz from begining of shot to end (20sec). The double puts out 4oz from begining to end (25sec) Temps are good. Steam works.
2) Yes from a tank.
3) No only if I press the coffee button a second time to turn it off.
4) 10 years
5) havnt descaled for about 5 years. I always have used spring water.

Still not totally clear on whether the pump is running and water continues to flow out of the group, or whether the pump stops, water continues to flow out of the group (but weaker) and doesnt stop until you press the button a second time?
10 years does mean the pump could well have reached end of life
Spring water does not mean you don't need to descale, check the hardness of the water (it should be stated on the bottle). You can have spring water that's incredibly hard or very soft, depending on it's source!
It could well be a scale problem and a thorough descale might solve it, it could be two problems, depending on your answer to the question 1
e.g. solenoid valve defective, flow meter not moving/defective (also very, very low flow will often not activate the flow meter properly, especially if there is scale), etc..
