The pump is running and water flows out of the group. When pump stops water stops.

Other than the pump sound and possibly weaker water flows, (but the shot volumes that I posted seem normal)
It runs fine.

I will descale.

Scaling does reduce the life of components including the pump, at 10 years yours has had a pretty good run. If after running a lot of descaler thru the pump and descaling the machine it doesn't solve the problem a new pump should do the trick. They are relatively cheap and quite easy to replace. If you do replace the pump use an EX5, it has a brass rather than plastic end (EA vs EX prefix). Don't worry if it says 48W, it makes little difference.
