Espresso: Simonelli Oscar

Hello! Two days ago (April 15, 2013), I purchased a new Simonelli Oscar, but now I am having some problems. Pulled my first shot, and everything turned out great, then downhill after that. My shots after the first were without crema and I noticed a slight burnt taste to the espresso. I measured the temperature of the water and it's only 145 degrees F. I was told that since I live in the Denver area, I might have problems due to the high elevation and I might have to adjust the pressure stat??? Can someone here tell me step by step how to adjust the pressure stat???

Whoa whoa whoa.. Slow down.
First of all, how are you grinding your coffee? What are you using to grind it with? Are you using Pods?
How old is your coffee? Is it less than 21 days old from the roasting date?
Your reseller would have adjusted and tested the machine before they sent it out to you. Please don't adjust anything. If you think there is something wrong, A professional can test and adjust your machine with the proper tools and testing equipment. (If it is required.) Bring it back to the shop you bought it from and have them take a look at it if you think there is an issue.
Garbage In, Garbage Out, for every step of the process. From Beans to grinder, grounds to machine, coffee to cup.
