Has anyone seen this (or know anything about it?): Click Here (www.gaggia-usa.com)

It actually looks quite appealing - perhaps more than a Classic in new skin...

Looks sort of like a Francis Francis X1.  Nice looking, but some of the "features" listed on their site make it look like a step backward from the Classic. Thermoblock boiler, pressurized portafilter, panarello steam wand are not things that are going to appeal to a serious home barista, although they may appeal to a more casual user who doesn't want to buy a good grinder, fresh breans, and learn how to steam milk properly.

The Gaggia Carezza Prestige semi-automatic espresso machine boasts a powerful 1,300W thermoblock boiler, pressurized portafilter, and two programmable brew buttons for enviable performance. Easy-to-use, push-button controls and a stainless steel Pannarello wand lets you brew, steam, and froth with confidence. For your convenience, the Carezza Prestige's pressurized portafilter comes with baskets for both ground coffee and ESE (easy serve espresso) pods. Additional features such as the front accessible water reservoir, ergonomic steam knob, energy-saving “stand-by” mode, and pre-brewing function make this machine a great choice for the home.

Highlights
•Ball-joint mounted stainless steel Pannarello steam wand
•Spacious passive cup warmer
•47 fl oz front access removable water reservoir with level indicator
•Powerful 15-bar pump
•Pre-infusion cycle
•1300 watt boiler
•8.8 lbs
•11”H x 8.3”W x 11.8”D
•Accessories Included:
•Single, double, and ESE pod filter baskets

So (pending a review) I could spend less money on a Classic and get a better machine?

Ehhhh that machine looks like a step backwards. Thermoblock boiler and pressurized PFs, Panarello, no 3-way valve etc for more money than a Classic, huh?!?! lol. It looks cool/retro, that's about it.

Agreed. The pressure gauge, if that's what it is, is a nice addition. The rest - looks like a repackaged Baby perhaps. I see the Classic still being the most recommended in this price neighborhood.
