I wouldn't do it. A three-year-old machine like that could have a very questionable future. I had something similar, though it was probably more like 4 years old. I felt guilty for thinking of selling it on Craigslist, so I gave it to a friend. It lasted about 2 months, but is now hissing and spitting water out the bottom. It's probably fixable, but why?.......
What's your budget and what do you want to make? And, if you want to go down that path, have a look at the "read this first" sticky thread at the top of this forum.

Thanks, I was think the same thing.
Well, my budget is around 150 bucks. I was thinking of getting the DeLonghi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso since most reviewers say its really good and its very affordable. I do plan on spending much more for a grinder.

Buy the cheaper of thee two. You'll be replacing whichever of them you get with something better in a few years. Neither of them will be worth the price of repairing to resell. Even the cheapest repairs are going to cost you $70-100. When your starter machine dies, you'll have learned your habits and how you will be using its replacement. Your grinder is the more important choice and you'll buy something better to catch the brewer up to the grinder. So your small investment on that first machine won't be a waste. If you do decide to go for something in a higher price range as a starter machine, rather than either of these, do consider used, then... The used will still be worth most of its cost after a couple years if you decide to upgrade.
