Amen to that I came here 7 years ago with a bruised heart from an Breville nightmare . Ended up with a Gaggia Classic,MDF grinder ,two roasters,a La Cuadra and Baratza Preciso,with no end in sight.

I was actually kind of psyched that the Gaggia Baby (which I know is very low-end for this crowd) was so solidly built inside. It was like working on a car.... not that I work on cars, but I guess I mean it was all mechanical and less "disposable" than most modern appliances.
