I've been getting a steam/pressure release noise from my porta filter after I shut down a shot.  As if it ran out of water or something.  Water level is fine, and shot is ok.  But I did not get this noise before.  Maybe the shot grind is too tight?  I'll try today but am limited to trying too many times.
Short on beans.

edit: newbie with Lady Silvia and Preciso.

I can't quite tell from the description, but 3 way discharging, or 3 way not functioning properly.  If the pucks are relatively dry and you can release the PF just after the shot, the 3 way is probably working normally.  Are you perhaps hearing that?  I can hear mine sometimes more than others, on a Gaggia.

I just shot a video on my last shot of espresso and it didn't do it.  So we'll have to see what happens later.  Just roasted some beans, and need to air them out for a day or two.
