Hi, this might be a silly question but I bought a used commercial fully automatic Thermoplan- Black and White CTS2 machine (I haven't hooked it up yet) and I was wondering, will I be able to make  regular cups of coffee with this machine or do I have to buy a separate coffee brewer with the airpots and a grinder.  Thank you so much. Kristin

Add hot water to your espresso and you'll have a regular coffee.   It is called a Caffè Americano.

Thanks so much.  Are there any coffee shops that you have ever seen that do this instead of brewing in a separate coffee machine?  I'm just curious because I would love to avoid buying all of the extra equipment but I haven't seen any where that does this.  Most places don't have fully automatic machines though.  Thank you.

Depends on what you're looking to do.  If you're trying to make drip brewed coffee then you'll need suitable equipment.  An Americano is close but not the same thing.
