Hi, does anyone own one of these? I am having some trouble getting it to work and I would appreciate some advice.

Regards,
James.

The problem I am having is when I switch it on the display shows "heating" and I can hear the heater relay click on and off every few seconds but it never stops. Eventually steam starts to shoot out of the connector where the hot water inlet joins the brewing unit.

I'm not very familiar with this machine and your info are not really clear, but i try to give you some idea.
Your machine has the 2 boilers ( steam and hot water/coffee) temperature controlled by probes, maybe the hot water boiler probe is defective or some parts in the main board has some problem.
The steam boiler refilling pipe came from the hot water boiler, if the solenoid valve involved for refilling the steam boiler does not seal well maybe some hottest water could back to the hot water boiler causing "confusion" to the hot water boiler probe.
Both boilers has an high limit temp thermostat, but if it does not shutting down yet meaning that maybe you still in a "secure" situation but
I don't understand where you saw steam come out and in which condition, so this could be a problem if the steam come out not from his spout or worse inside the machine.

useful pictures.
If there is a leaking from there meaning that maybe the orings of the plug connector of the brewing group are worn, just replace it and maybe you could solve even the other problem due to it could be related to.
Releasing pressure from there could be the cause of your "dancing" boiler relay.
Be sure you replace the orings with original parts due to a minimum difference of size could not grant the sealant effect and maybe generate other problem.
Frankly i will replace even the oring on the brewing group upper connector just because you already open the machine and why not even the piston oring.
