Hi all,

I am considering buying a La Valentina. This machine will be EUR1500 in the Netherlands.
Much more than the average price in yhe USA I think.
I also got a EUR 1699 offer for a ECM Veneziano A1 .
Now I am in doubt what to choose.

Is there anybody around withexperience with the Veneziano A1?

many thanks in advance,

Marcel

FYI, the Veneziano is a big machine compared to the La Val.  Also, it is designed for somewhat high volume use.  It is a beautiful machine nevertheless....for some people.....maybe overkill for home use.  See if you can find the dimensions and compare.  Also, compare boiler size and wattage.

I also do not have a reply - but have a question for you...

I am wanting to purchase a La Valentina semi-automatic but am having trouble finding a supplier.. I am in New Zealand, so I need a 230/240 v, 50 hz.

I have found Temperato in Norway and Macchina-caffe in Germany that sell them and at the right voltage, but they have not responded to my emails.

Can you please let me know who you would use to buy a La Valentina in the Netherlands?

Any advice greatly appreciated !

Hi Jennifer,

I found the Veneziano for this price at Ebay germany.
www.ebay.de

It was a new machine

Check the size, it is really big.
I let it go, because the machine was far to big for the space I have available in the kitchen.
And decided to buy a Reneke Techno instead.

success,

Marcel

Bewitched,

I've heard that the Grimac La Uno is similar; I think that they have the same manufacturer.  In Australia, Grinders coffee sell them RRP~$1950 AUD.  Uglier, though!  You could try looking for this machine locally.

Hope that helped,

Luca

Cosmorexcoffee.com.au in Canberra NSW seem to be the importers of La Val (well Diadema Junior, which is a badge difference) here in AUS. They're really responsive to questions, give em a try.
bye
