Subject: Futurmat Ariete - Anybody used one before?

Just a question really. There is one for sale, and it's not a name that is too familiar to me, and I can't say I've seen/noticed any in cafes before.

From what I can gather, Futurmat is one of Gaggia (Spain's) brands. Other than that, I don't know too much about it. The machine is a two group, and is going for about US$700.

Just thought I would fish around for some thoughts on the machine, that is, if anyone knows about it.

Cheers,
yann

The futurmat ariete is made in Spain by Gaggia Espanola. The company was first opened by Faema Spain, and later bought by Gaggia.
The futurmat is a basic Faema machine with old faema technology.
It works very well.
Seven hundred dollars is reasonable, if it is in good working condition.
Parts are easy to find.
