I have not been able to access (with Windows Media package that came with my XP ), any of the sites (which offer a video look at a good 'honey coloured flow' of coffee) I have found so far. My computer has no problems with all other normal web based video downloads. Any advice on good sites? I am a newby, but at last I am getting 'ok' coffees now.

Now, just for you Polarbird, I videotaped my first pull of the morning, a slightly long ristretto. This was video taped about 20 mins ago. It's compressed, 320x240, and is about 7mb long for about a min of video
Then I adjusted the grinder a bit, and pulled a double. It was a bit short (I should have gone a hair's coarser on the grinder) but servable. This vid is 6mb long.

Mark - Thank you! There really is a dearth of video like this on the Internet. I am having the same problem as the above poster in that my recent upgrade to Windows XP seems to have made .AVI and Windows Media Files unreadable. These shots really make my day.
Next I would love to see a nice video of a pitcher of microfroth being drawn and then poured into a nice rosetta. ; ) Just kidding. Thanks for the great video.

This clip (and article with nice latte art pics) might be close to what you guys want. Not a lot of detail on the frothing part but the rosetta pour impressed the hell out of me. Some more videos on frothing technique would be welcome, though!

Yeah! Great video. Lovely rostta there. Unfortunately, I have not yet had any luck with the microfroth, even with the material I've found online. There's supposed to be a "latte art clinic" at Higher Grounds here in NYC next month that will hopefully help me out with that.
Thanks for the great link! Don't know how I missed that one...

That video with Aaron was really nice. Great explanation of how the tip of the steam wand should be placed on the surface of the milk. He sounds like a person that is good at explaining things, a good educator? :)
Btw, check out this link for a clip where milk is steamed on a Zacconi lever machine (by Alexander von der Lippe) and then used for some really nice cappa latte art. The clip is about 6MB, AVI format (divx codec).
