In talking with friends about my espresso habit, I discovered that most of them don't know the difference between a Cappuccino and a Latte, let alone the many other variations out there. After looking around online I realized that there is more to know that I had imagined. The easiest way to keep track of it all was to make a chart to visually represent how much of each ingredient was in each drink.
I'm hoping that the collective wisdom here on the board can verify some of these measurements (which in some cases have lots of contradictory information online). You can see a legible version at this url since the attached image had to be less than 75k: Espresso Field Guide
After I get it finalized, I'm hoping to get it printed at poster size (16x20 and maybe larger) and will provide a link to buy one at cost on cafepress for the good folks of coffeegeek. Thanks!

Not a bad start, here's a couple of suggestions. The espresso shots are a little long, a double is 1.75oz to 2oz max. Over 2 oz is long. In the US single shots are becoming decreasingly popular. Most drinks are made with doubles.
A few spelling corrections: "macchiato", "affogato" For the Spanish, Latin, and French drinks such as cafè au lait, "cafè" is correct; however "caffè" is the correct spelling for caffè latte, caffè affogato, and caffè Americano.

I'm not an Italian speaker but I think the double should be doppio rather than dopio, at least that's what I've seen written everywhere. Check it with an Italian dictionary first though.
Lest this sound like shameless profiteering, I'm not marking these up from the cafepress base price for now, so no profit for me. I'll mark up the retail price after folks on this site have a chance to buy at "wholesale". Thanks to everyone for the feedback and corrections!

Hi - normally these kinds of posts (ie to the cafepress for sale site) are not allowed, but I'm gonna make an exception in this case because I like the project and it is highly educational - and the prices are at Cafepress's base price.

As a forum reader, I like knowing about new products and coffee-related products. I also realize that there are sponsors that pay good money to this site for advertising.
As an idea, I would think having a new products thread where new products can be announced for a fee.
