I just checked both of the blue Inker cups I bought from 49th Parallel & neither one has developed cracks or crazing after over 8 months of regular use. I also use an Electra/Inker espresso cup daily & haven't had any cracking/crazing issues although I have seen that in some older porcelain mugs.

Do you keep the cups on the cup warmer or use them cold?

On the cup warmer. These are the 9 oz. latte cups.

Hmm... Well, keep an eye out for a faint greyish line at the coffee line on the inside (where I first noticed it). When I noticed that I looked close and saw that at the center of the greyish line was a fine crack. Then I looked on the outside and found that it was cracked right through. Started on one side and is slowly spreading around the cups. Maybe I just got unlucky and got a bad batch.

How long have you had the cups? I'd contact 49th Parallel & see what they have to say about the problem.
