Why wouldnt be? am i missing something?
Anyways i have a La cimbali m23, and i have cut and made one of the portafilters that came with it bottomless. so i believe it should work.
Here is what VST wrote on the website i linked above:
"22-g & 7-g fits all La Marzocco and Synesso and most Nuova Simonelli models using their standard portafilters. Faema, La Cimbali, Rancilio require a bottomless portafilter."
well if i am missing something please let me know.
My main problem now, is that it seems most tamper companies dont make a 40.7 mm tamper. and i am about to go the custom way of doing this. i will wait couple of days to see if anyone on this forum knows first.

i already checked that site before... The smallest size i see is a 49mm . i dont see a 40.7 or 40.9 mm. I even send them an email 4 days ago and still haven't received a reply if they can make a custom 40.7 tamper.
