Hi, I am a new owner of a FF X1 and so far we love the machine! My question concerns repair parts for the machine. I have looked through every FrancisFrancis thread and can find no reference to the locations where people purchase parts for the machine. I have also done on line searches with no luck.
Does anyone have any hints on where the best place in the US is to buy repair parts? Are any of the parts like the pump or temperature control switches interchangable with other brands.
Do any of the sites that stock parts have on line diagrams that show an exploded view of the machine with parts and part numbers?
I'd like to get one of those FF tampers but don't know if anyone sells them or if they just come with new models?
Also, the FF International web site has disappeared. Does anyone know if they are going out of business? One US web site indicated that they would no longer be carrying FF machines because of poor factory service in recent months. Should we be stocking up on grouphead gaskets?

Francis Francis can be contacted directly @ 877-854-4141 They can supply you with extra parts. I know the 2 part tamper is $6.50 and an extra portafilter is $45
