I have the Silvia with Auber PID & it is da' bomb! Espresso first, with pre-infusion & countdown, dump the puck, rinse grouphead, switch to steam, wait till temp is 240+, then release water from steam wand & steam away! With the 12oz Toroid (espro) pitcher, I get amazing micro foam! I get wonderful espresso from this single boiler machine!
For a Latte I steam first. During the warm up to steam I purge into the cup I am using to pre heat as well as boiler refill after frothing. During the boiler refill I wait for the light to turn on so I can temp surf. Once it does I prepare my shot, pull and add the frothed milk. This gets the cleaning out of the way so once I am done I just knock out the puck and Pallo the group head. Takes a few seconds.
