Hi my husband and I recently bought an amazing bottle of coffee liqueur tequila, patron XO cafe. I wanted to make a cake or cupcake recipe but have not found a recipe that uses this type of liqueur. If anyone has a recipe for me I would love to try it out! Please and thank you!

Then cooking forums/sites would be your next best bet. There are a lot of them out there.
I did a quick Google and got plenty of hits for recipes using coffee liqueur. That's probably as close as you're going to get to what you're looking for.

I have a recipe called "Death By Chocolate". It uses Kahlua which I consider to be better for cooking recipes than the tequila based coffee liqueurs (maybe the Patron XO cafe will work, however I need to provide the disclaimer anyway). You just get one box of dark chocolate cake mix and make a pan of cake with it. You drizzle 2 cups of kahlua all over the cake and let sit for 1/2 hour, then crumble cake with your hands. You then need to have a truffle bowl (or similar) >> Click Here (www.crateandbarrel.com) and layer it as follows, about 1/2 inch each until completed:
Crumbled chocolate cake infused with the kahlua dark chocolate pudding crumbled heath bar (sprinkled on top of pudding, not 1/2 inch thick) cool whip
Keep up the above repetition until you have no more cake left and the whip cream is on top. Let sit in fridge for at least 12 hours, then eat. It is totally amazing and extremely addictive.
