I joined a few months ago, and have enjoyed the site (and learned a lot). I haven't found anything similar on the web.
I've noticed, though, that the Forums and User Reviews seem to be the only places with any life.
After a flurry in the middle of last year, there hasn't been an article since July (almost 9 months), and no original editorial content since the holiday suggestions in November (4 months). The last non-consumer review was 4 years ago.

I noticed the same thing, not specific only to this site but also with coffee blogs and podcasts. It seems that there's a lot of activity on Twitter, but long form posts, articles, and podcasts seem to have really died off.

Update the front holiday pictures with the Easter Bunny and take Santa and Mrs. Claus off, and that would go a long way for the next couple months maybe, then when the 4th of July comes, or the Canadian equivalent (July 1st?) put up some fireworks if that is still politically correct.
