Now called the Faema Family. I had this machine for about 6 months before I upgraded to an HX machine. But it served me well and I took good care of it, and it makes super espresso. Super-sturdy cast aluminum build, copper boiler (.08 gal.), .6 gal. water reservoir, solinoid valve, over-pressure valve, three-hole steam tip (not the "upgraded" one pictured with the Family), spring-loaded commercial-sized (58mm) portafilter. Weighs 28 lbs. Comes with original manual and the base shown in the picture.
The two downsides of this machine are that the drip tray is somewhat small and the steam wand is awkwardly positioned. But it's workable- once you get used to the position, it steams really well. The truth is that it makes great espresso. If I didn't need HX for serving guests, I would have kept it.
