I'm sure you already looked into it ... but the 2 boilers combined on the Brewtus are larger than the two on the La Spaziale. Have you considered the Nuova Simonelli Appia or maybe a used Nuova Simonelli MAC or MAC Digit?

Yes, but all a large brew boiler gives you is a longer recovery time. You only use 3 oz for a 2 ounce shot & the Vivaldi recovers from a double in less then 50 seconds. Can you grind & tamp that fast? The Vivaldi is plumbed in with a rotary pump so there is never a wait for water.

I am going with the Vivaldi II....I am going call Chris Coffee and talk to them about a package deal. Is that the best place to go? As far as the Brewtus goes, if it doesn't sell on this board in a few days, I am going to put it on ebay. I thought $850 was a more than fair price, but I only have one person that is interested. I would think it will get at least $1,000 on ebay. Thoughts?

I've been trying to avoid selling on Ebay lately. The amount they charge you at the end that is a percentage of the winning bid amount has gotten way too high. Then Paypal takes their cut if you accept Paypal...it's almost not worth the fees and the hassle. Then again..if you can get $1000 vs. the $850 that you're asking here that would cover the difference.

Hard to say on eBay. If you find someone that is looking for a Brewtus then you may get a quick sale. On the other hand you may not get any nibbles. There is only one way to find out ... give it a shot.
You might just want to hold tight and someone will come along here and take the Brewt off your hands.
You're choice as far as the next machine you buy. I like the E61 group, the 58 mm standard commercial portafilter and the stainless steel look. Have you looked at the new Vibiemme double boiler.
