=====
Thanks all. They both went to Geeks thru eBay!
=====

REVISED: I've posted them both on eBay now with lots of nice photos. I'll make a special deal with CG members to deal directly. It really is worth something to me to sell it to a CG. Mark and his CK/CG sites are responsible for all this insanity (in a good way... I think), so fellow members of the insane asylum should benefit.

Epoca S1 Volumetric Auction
Mazzer Super Jolly Auction

Make your offer here, on eBay (mention you're a CG member), or email me.

I purchased a new Epoca S1 Rotary (*not* tank) and a used (residential use only) Mazzer Jolly (with a spare set of new, sealed Mazzer factory burrs -- excellent shape, with some paint nicks only around the PF fork/doser plate area) for my home back in early late 2006/early 2007, only to move about a few months later (April 2007). I haven't hooked it up yet and it's just been sitting in our new laundry room since the move. I may have pulled about 100-200 shots on it, if I'm lucky. My best intentions were to either buy or have a special "cart" made up and have new plumbing run, but there is just no place for these monstrosities in our new home. I will include the original, brand new (and very expensive) 4-Stage OmniPure under-counter, inline water filtration and softening system with the machine. The S1 has never sipped a single drop of water that did not come through this filtration system. The machine doesn't have a mark on it and is beautiful -- but it's B.I.G. I made the mistake of "upgrading" from a Mazzer Mini to a Jolly. If you need this to fit under your cabinets on your countertop you'll either need to have a LOT of clearance or have a counter without cabinets above them. I have neither available, so the custom "cart" was the best I could come up with, which I never got around to doing.

You can use a separate tank for water supply and waste, but plumbing is optimal. There's nothing like not worrying -- ever again -- about filling tanks or emptying a full drip tray. It really is liberating (I came from a Livia 90/Mini combo). The rotary pump is nirvana, and it's whisper silent, unlike those obnoxious vibe pumps. Steaming is simply nuts. You'd need to be a pro Barista working daily on LM or Synesso machines to be disappointed by this thing. Shots take some work, but the rewards are worth the learning curve. Temps are pretty stable, for an unmodified, non-PID machine. The Jolly is nuts. You'll want to replace the GARGANTUAN hopper with one from the Mini, or cut it down yourself, if you're the industrious type.

It's in the Atlanta (2 hours), Birmingham(1 hour), Huntsville (1 hour), Chattanooga (90 minutes) region. If you're around these parts, email me and we can make pickup/delivery arrangements. If not, we'll have to work out shipping. I can take Paypal (confirmed business account).

I'll be taking some photos today or tomorrow and can either post them here or email them upon request.

Thanks,

Brendan

PS. It's off to eBay in a couple of days if there are no takers here. I'd prefer to go to a Geek, and avoid the eBay blues, if at all possible.

Hi Rob,

I'm thinking a million dollars, Canadian ('cuz it's worth more than our American toilet paper dollar right now).

Make an offer. I really don't know what they're going for right now, though I suppose I could check.

It's in excellent condition. Some PF spout paint chipping on the front baseplate under the fork, and that's it. The guy I bought it from had it at his apartment for a while (he was the original owner) until he got married. His then-new wife wouldn't allow it in their new kitchen.

Maybe it's just me, but if I have to make a choice between a Mazzer and a women, well...

Let me know what you think.
And also may I see a pic of it

Yeah for sure.  But I'm sure the mazzer would win hands down.  Luckily for that guy Mazzer makes a mini.
However if we start posting questions about women and coffee the dynamics of the site would change.
The "BUY SELL TRADE" forum would become "SINGLES IN SEATLE" or something like that.  An online dating
site with a background in coffee.  So in conclusion I believe we should stick to what we know best,  fumbling
in our relationships (never to be mentioned again) and drinking really good coffee.  Unless of course you have a really good story.  Then I'm all ears.

bgetchel - if you read the first post in the B/S/T forum titled something like "IMPORTANT: Read this before posting" it says that you need to always include an asking price in For Sale posts here at CG.  Just saying...

Ahhh... sorry about that. I really don't know what to ask. I was thinking around $1500 for the whole kit -- Epoca, Super Jolly, OmniPure system, and accessories (extra PFs, Lava tamper, some other stuff). If someone wants it all. I'm really not sure though.

Hi Brad,

I'm skeptical as to whether I'll be able to sell it together. I'll take a few photos shortly and will email them to you.
