I have an early production La Pavoni lever machine. Instead of stressing about replacement seals, I'd rather go in a different direction. I'd like a 58mm tamper and/or barista tools. I need a knock box, thermometer, group head cleaning brush and possibly some espresso cups. I'm looking to get what I paid for the machine, which is $100. I also have a tamper that fits this brew basket. I paid about $35 for that, so $135 for both. If you have any of the above items that total up to $130, then drop me a line. Cash is always good too. I'm willing to ship it, but you pay shipping charges.

Austinmike, much chagrined to see you're giving up on your early Pavoni! The seals are nothing to stress about, if you can get the piston out, and send us the measurements we'll see if we have the seals. You can see there's some interested parties that aren't too stressed about seals (including us...3rd in line?) Hmmm....we got cups.....
I guess it boils down to whether you've got a good 'vibe' for the machine - there's a lot of espresso machines in the world, and this one just might have it for you - gear for gear is usually a musician's concept!

I bought the machine without knowing much about espresso machines. I wouldn't mind another lever machine, but I want something a little more modern. I'm sure that Len will have that baby buzzing in no time. The machine itself is in very good shape for such an old machine.
