Its that time of year again. Time for me to get new machine and time for somebody to score on mine :-) Last year about this time I sold my GS/3 here and today is Speedster's turn. Either LM Strada or Synesso Hydra is taking Speedster's place this time. I am serial machine changer (its probably some kind of disease ;-) Search this forum for my other machines I sold, you can buy with confidence.
For sale is my gently used Speedster I bought from factory and which was build in June-ish 2011 and delivered in July 2011. Wait for this machine is about 6 months. It has 2 year warranty from Nasi @ coffeeshopsolutions.com and from Kees. Both are very responsive and helpful should you have any problems in future. Kees just finished maintenance manual for Speedster that is really good and covers pretty much all maintenance and work items on machine. Super helpful and included. Machine condition is excellent. It works perfectly and it looks great. This is what I call classic and best Speedster configuration with engine turned panels and yellow/red color scheme. As with all my machines I took great care of Speedster too. It was used with Claris water filter and water was tested monthly. Water going into the machine has 25 ppm and it went through Claris. This means any scale is really minimized. Here is my cleaning schedule:
- Daily at the end of the session - take group screen off and clean the both group head and screen. - Back-flush with detergent (Cafiza). Yes it should be done daily with small amounts of detergent first dissolved in water. - Wipe the machine clean. - Draw 250ml of water from steam boiler to make sure water gets exchanged there and some fresh water goes in every day.
Speedster needs to be plumbed-in and you will need 220v line to run it. It is fantastic machine that makes superb espresso and has excellent temperature stability. There is really nothing to fault on it. Its also easy to work on when you need to and every single machines needs it sooner or later.
I prefer local sale so if you are in driving distance from Seattle, 98008 stop by and pick it up tomorrow.
Price is $6800 plus shipping (lower 48 only). Expect at least $200 for freight shipping in original crate box which I saved since I sell all my machines quickly. Obviously no shipping charges for pickup.
If you are in driving distance I strongly recommend local pickup and would greatly prefer that. I will hold it listed for some time first to see whether local sale can be made. Sold on first emailed first sold basis, local always gets preference.
Included are original bottomless and Teflon coated double portafilters , 2 double baskets, 1 single baskets, 2 tripple basket, and original water softener system that I did not use.

Hi Dennis. MOD note, please include your actual last name. I know who you are, but we have rulez here at CG....
Personal NOTE : Sadly, I'm not in the market and I'm not in the geographic area. This is not my year to get a new different machine, but if it was then Speedster is one of the few machines on Earth that I might consider to replace my gorgeous Faema.

This is a great deal if you're looking for a Speedster. The current pricing and build time alone make this a great opportunity. What an amazing machine. Would look sexier in Black though;-)
